About Lexis
I discovered yoga in 2018, after a friend was diagnosed with preeclampsia and her doctor had recommended yoga. Initially we went in search of relief for her, but I too was greatly impacted by this healing practice. I had recently lost my grandmother and was unaware how much it was weighing on me. It was in this first class that I experienced great healing. I instantly immersed myself in everything Yoga. After a year of daily practice, self study, and dedication, I knew this was the path that I was meant to take.

While this training was amazing in its own right, it only scratched the surface. It was because of this training that I was so inspired to dive deeper into my yoga teaching journey.

This 25 hour intensive training was ever so magical and one of the first 25 hour modules I ever took. This training gave me the fundamental understandings of our seven main chakras, as well as a brief touch on the energetic outer body chakras
Trauma Informed Teaching
Chakra Flow University
This 25 hour module ROCKED MY WORLD! This training asked me to dive deep into my own triggers and consider how my actions could impact another. It is because of this training that I became so passionate about the way I speak and how those words can be impactful.
Pre & Post Natal
Chakra Flow University
In this magical 25 hour module I was introduced to so much information regarding the impacts of childbirth, both beautiful and scary. My biggest take away was that everBODY is effected differently, but yoga can play a big part in preparing for baby and reducing symptoms.
Yoga History through the lense of the Bhagavad Gita
Chakra Flow University
Knowing the history of a practice that we adapt can be both empowering to ourselves and honoring to the culture. In this training, I learned so much. The lessons offer in the literature are some that I could spend the rest of my life digesting. This training helps me to give credit to the culture that influences today's american yoga.
Neuroscience & Yoga for Recovery
Chakra Flow University
The class that inspired my passion for nervous system education. This class opened a door to a whole world regarding trauma, fight or flight, recovery, and how yoga can be a tool to those of us who fit these categories. It is my experience that were all recovering from something. This is the class that inspired so much of my future trainings and choices.
Ayurveda Healing
Chakra Flow University
This retreat was an amazing experience among community and that alone was expansive. The training taught us about our Doshas and how to move in unison with the changes of the planet. I learned about many lifestyle changes that can greatly effect our immune system and quality of life.
The Business of Healing
Chakra Flow University
At first glance, this is a business course and while that is true, in part, that is not all it was. Most importantly, this module taught us how to be ethical in the way we show up as teachers and business owners. We were introduced to yoga's ethical principles and how to apply them to the way we show up for our students and our community.
Yin & Restorative
Chakra Flow University
Another amazing opportunity to explore the nervous system and the healing that yoga can offer. Not only did we read about the effects, we were able to feel it in our bodies through two styles of practice. Thanks to this opportunity, I have found a new love for practicing and teaching the practice of Yin yoga.
Read, Write, Sutras
Chakra Flow University
Where do I begin? The focus of this training was The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali. This is a collection of Sanskrit sutras on the theory and practice of yoga. We explored the theories, plus touched on reading and pronouncing Sanskrit.
