What It Once Was
Yoga in Statesville, NC has seen many changes when it comes to yoga. Without a consistent yoga studio in our community, United Yogi Lexi decided to do something about it. In 2020 she began her Yoga Teacher Training and has since accumulated 11 certifications specific to yoga. In October 2022 Lexi was finally able to host the grand opening for UnitedYoga, not yet knowing about the great things yet to come. Meanwhile, Yoga at Gatherings, two doors down, was working towards a similar mission. After spending time with the yogis at Gatherings, Lexi knew that UY was meant for bigger things than she had originally imagined. It wasn't long after this realization that the steps were taken to see this dream come to live.
What it will be
For UnitedYoga to pair up with Yoga at Gatherings, can only mean great things for our wellness community. This is because we all have a similar goal: to bring healing to our community in a way that is accessible, both physically and financially. That is why we will be a donation based, nonprofit, co-op. This means that no student is ever turned away and that we have a wide array of teachers offering yoga to different walks of life. This means that community is forever our focus and money is only a means to keep us running. This means we put you first!
